August 2026: I am delighted to announce that we have be awarded the MPS/DMS-EPSRC grant to pursue a two-year project on Free-surface breathers in the Euler equations: a new paradigm problem in nonlinear wave motion. This project will be collaboration with Paul Milewski, Triantaphyllos Akylas, and Demetrios Papageorgiou. More details will be forthcoming advertising postdoctoral research associate positions.
Jan 2025-Jan 2026: During the 2025-26 year, I am pleased to announce that I will be working with JBA Trust as a Knowledge Exchange Catalyst fellow for the ICMS Programme in Mathematics for Humanity on developing a better understanding of mathematical approaches in flood estimation.
If you are interested in my more recent work on flooding, there are some details here: Asymptotics for intermodel comparisons of flood-estimation models and New directions for theoretical flooding research.
