During your adventures as a researcher, it is useful to have software that will help you keep on top of the reading your do and also to help you generate the bibliographies for publications and reports.

Currently, the software that I most recommend for students (and for our researchers) to help manage their bibliography is Zotero. There are a few reasons to like this software, but I will point out three:

1. It is free an open source
2. It is cross-platform, and can be run on browser, Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS
3. It has existed for long enough that we would mostly consider it stable.
